Yes, we are trying to switch the focus of St. Patrick's Day from drinking as much liquor while wearing clothing dipped in vats o' green to something else. Why not hunting for pots of gold? It's good exercise, leprechauns can defend themselves and they'd have a lot of fun with anyone stupid enough to get drunk before engaging any of the wee folk in the traditional battle of wits.
We'll be watching The Commitments (great, great soundtrack), reading Spider Robinson's Callahan's Crosstime Saloon and its fellows and probably picking up Five Guys (burgers and fries is very nearly ancestral food, if we throw in some coleslaw for the cabbage content.)
We've missed the lyric game so here's a breakdown of our favorite songs from The Commitments soundtrack.
Ty mood: car watching???
"Mustang Sally now Baby - Guess you better slow the Mustang down
Your run of no return - Oh I guess you gotta put your flat feet on the ground"
"Mustang Sally"
Tammy mood: not in the ... (you know the rest)
"know you've got some sweet memories
But like a window you ain't got nothin' to say"
"I Can't Stand The Rain"
Tinker mood: helpful
"all you got to do is take my advice
you've got to hold her
don't squeeze her
never leave her"
"Try A Little Tenderness"
TK mood: repetitive
"One of these mornings
That chain is goin'a break
But up until the-hen
I'm goin'a take all I can take"
"Chain of Fools"
T-shirt o' the week is actually a poster, Sweet Destruction, from Fresh Oven Dreams. We'd like to destroy a few cookies ourselves.

And from the shirt.woot Magic Derby, we opt for Huge Mistake, a little truffleshuffle sleight of hat because: yes, magic is scary and truffleshuffle monsters are always cool, even when they're rabbits.
Don't drink and drive and try not to let the leprechaun make too much of a fool of you. Because we care -- and want a cut o' the gold ; ). Cheers.
