All right, I admit, I like the guess or sneak game...I think I need a blog design where all the videos are located on one video only page and that's the first thing someone clicking through sees -- unless I develop band bio graphics. But then there will be a lyric + general music news page.
My brother brought all of his kids, my mom, and my other little brother out to see Taming of The Shrew last week -- excellent show, if you missed it, you missed a lot of laughter opportunities. So there we are at Friendly's, the small children with these really cool cone shaped things full of french fries and some form of protein (sliders, chicken wings) and little Joe is barely missing a beat between throwing out about 257 Blink Kitty Love ideas. Many of them involved TK developing a crush on someone -- Joe doesn't see that TK can't really develop a crush on someone -- although I did figure out a way TK could go out on a date. I guess Joe's a romantic.
Then after the show, at Dairy Queen (yes, Heath Bar Blizzards, I love 'em), Joe and Emma continued with the what Blink Kitty Love should do suggestions/orders. It's great that they are so interested in the characters + because I've known Joe + Emma since they were much littler and just starting out cute, I don't growl territorially like I might at someone else, but it does get tiring/annoying. And Joe's ideas are too random -- he doesn't quite get character coherency yet. I keep encouraging him to make up his own band + do something with it, but at the moment, he's having too much fun with mine.
Toon Boom --they are tempting me with their Studio 5 release, including stop motion features (can you say Gullible and Twitchy) and the usual importation of video, pegging, lip synching, etc. So I downloaded the trial and fiddled around a bit...got further than when I tried that with version 4. You can import FlipBoom so I might take the current Blink Kitty Love episode I've been working on + see what more features can do for me.
Anyway, my summer so far -- excellent Shakespeare, Toon Boom temptation + nephew/niece inspiration. What about yours?
