Or why did I pick a band? Well, I didn't exactly pick a band. Blink Kitty Love was a name I had floating around for awhile -- I thought it might be cool for some kind of manga ish comic book, I'm a big comic book fan and have always thought I'd end up doing one. Until I started using FlipBoom to animate
and realized what I always wanted to do was a comic that moved. All those drawing of people I did on my grandmother's coffee table and had the dialogue running along in my head? They were actually storyboards; I just didn't know it. So I'm coming to the conclusion that Blink Kitty Love is more of a moving web comic than anything else. Which is cool. But makes it difficult to come to a conclusion about yes, there should be music (trying to do/find/convince someone to do/find music is another page or two) or no, music must be avoided. Plus, there's the little pounding voice in my head that says BUT THEY'RE A BAND!
And haven't you always wanted to be in a band.
