POST #2: LYRICS

The lyric of the day posts started when I was trying to put together Radio Blink Kitty Love on last.fm (see handy widgets).  It seemed like the one of the best way to figure out the characters was to give them playlists-- at least in my head -- and they could share the group radio.  And what I love about songs are the words and the rhythms -- I, like TK, am a natural percussionist, and we both love Gomez, which I found by typing drums into the last.fm tag box.  Gomez fell under drums, drums, drums.  Quick summary:  Ty likes success so if you've gone platnium, he knows how.  Tinker loves post, post punk and edge.  Tammy likes to look at the eye candy (David Bowie, Prince, Springsteen) and listen to tales of love gone wrong, with the slightest hint of grown up girl rock (Liz Phair, not Avril).  TK likes percussion, indie bands, movie soundtracks and just bizarre tangents no one else in the band can stand like John Anderson (study up now, lyric coming soon).

And that'll get you started.  I'm taking band and lyric suggestions.  So far, there's been one by my 6'1" little brother and one by my partner.  Yours could be next.  Drop it through the comment slot.
